Care Home Re-Generation Commercial Kitchen Design
Clive Tuck an architect from Henry Riley Consulting contacted Hopkins commercial kitchens Projects Manager Skip Appleyard regarding a re-generation kitchen for a new build care home in Thame. After previously working with Hopkins on successful projects he was keen to recommend us to Sohar Housing for their new project with David Williams Homes.
Hopkins commercial kitchen design team arranged a site visit to gather all the relevant information to produce an accurate and thorough plan. The busy kitchen needed to cater for over 40 residents, therefore the commercial kitchen design needed to consider the volume and demand on production.
At Hopkins the project management service follow’s the brief from concept through to completion. Hopkins designed, delivered and installed all the catering equipment and stainless steel fabrication within the regeneration kitchen on time and on budget.
On completion of the project a final walk around inspection of the kitchen was arranged between Hopkins and the client to ensure everything was finished to the standards expected. On handover of the new kitchen all instruction manuals and full equipment details were left on site. In addition Hopkins also arranged on site training for all the kitchen staff on all the main catering equipment installed.
The re-generation kitchen consisted of, electric boiling tops & ovens, heavy duty regeneration oven, upright fridges & freezers, commercial microwaves, water boilers and various stainless steel fabrications such as s/s prep tabling, s/s dishwash tabling, s/s cupboards, s/s double bowl sink unit.
